Small Space, Big Impact: A Cozy Room for Three Kids

Not every renovation needs to be large-scale to make a real difference. Some of our favorite projects are the smaller ones that challenge us to think creatively — like this sweet bedroom transformation for a busy family of five.

The goal was simple but tricky: fit three kids in one small bedroom without resorting to bunk beds. That meant every inch had to work hard — and every design choice had to balance function, comfort, and personality.

Designing for Function and Personality

Instead of stacking beds, we reimagined the layout to create an open, balanced flow that gave each child their own cozy corner. A floating shelf and custom-built boxes were added to bring in extra storage without crowding the room. These simple additions made space for books, toys, and personal treasures — giving the kids a place to display what they love most.

The Transformation

Before, the room felt cluttered and overwhelming. Now, it feels calm, warm, and full of character. Every element — from the layout to the little details — was chosen to make the space both functional and welcoming. It’s amazing how much a small project can transform not just a room, but the way a family uses it every day.

At Three Little Pigs SD, we believe great design is about creativity, not size. Whether it’s a full home remodel or a single-room refresh, our goal is always the same: to create spaces that feel thoughtful, personal, and full of life.

💛 A once-cluttered room that now fits three little personalities perfectly.
